Inauguration of the pre-clinical practice center building of Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy

In order to improve the medical examination and treatment capacity to serve the people, to meet the requirements of the industrialization and modernization of the country and international integration, Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy has established the Center for Pre-Medical Practice. clinical investment and construction of the Center’s headquarters.

On May 6, 2019, Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy started the construction of the pre-clinical practice center building, a consortium of construction contractors including PetroVietnam Machinery and Equipment Joint Stock Company (Pvmachino), the company Licogi13 Joint Stock Company and Mekong Development Joint Stock Company (Partnership: PVM – Licogi13 – Mekong) are the contractors to execute the construction and installation items, supply materials and equipment and construct and install this project.

After 18 months of construction and implementation, the project was completed. On the afternoon of December 22, 2020, Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the pre-clinical practice center building of Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

Attending the ceremony were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Long, Secretary of the Party Personnel Committee, Minister of Health; Mr. Ngo Dong Hai, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Thai Binh province; Comrade Tran Thi Bich Hang, Provincial Party Member, Vice Chairman of Thai Binh Provincial People’s Committee attended and congratulated the school leadership and the construction contractor consortium.

The pre-clinical practice center of Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy has a scale of 7 floors, a construction area of nearly 1,400 m2, a total floor area of over 10,000 m2, a total investment value of over VND 116 billion; The center is equipped with modern technical machinery system. This will be the basis for practice and application of scientific research achievements for staff, lecturers and students of Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy in the coming time.

With the goal of building the University’s pre-clinical practice center to serve the training and development of medical human resources, contributing to building and developing the University into a key university of medicine and pharmacy in the river delta.
