PVMachino represents Vietnamese businesses to welcome the delegation of Dubai Chamber of Commerce

On July 17th 2023, PetroVietnam Machinery – Technology JSC. (PVMachino) was honored to welcome the delegation of Dubai Chamber of Commerce at the company’s office.

During the visit of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce to promote bilateral trade activities between Vietnam and the UAE and open a representative office in Hanoi, PVMachino was honored to have representatives of Vietnamese businesses welcome the delegation at the office, No. 8 Trang Thi, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.

Dubai is one of 7 emirates located in the United Arab Emirates. This is a very potential market area for businesses to promote exports, as the value of bilateral trade between Vietnam and Dubai has grown steadily over the years and reached an impressive level of 7.7 billion USD this year. 2022. Currently, sectors with high potential for export growth from Vietnam to Dubai include: agricultural products (rice, coffee, tropical fruits, cashew nuts), electronics, furniture, shoes sandal. While Vietnam’s exports to many markets have reached the threshold, the UAE is considered a very open market, especially with the launch of negotiations on the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between Vietnam and the UAE ( CEPA) was signed at the ministerial level immediately after Vietnam completed domestic procedures.

During the reception, representatives of the Dubai Chamber delegation – Mr. Ayoob AlMarzooqi, Project Director – Strategic Cooperation and Protocol Department said, Mr. Vladislav Cheremisinov, Investment Director – Investment Attraction Department and Mr. Tuan Dinh , Chief Representative of the Vietnam region and PVMachino leaders discussed the export development strategy of each side’s key products in the coming time. Mr. Ayoob AlMarzooqi said Dubai Chambers will provide all necessary support to PVMachino as the company enters the Dubai market and leverages the city as a launch pad for the global market.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides came to preliminary agreements on cooperation in the field of agricultural products, promising to open up long-term business opportunities between PVMachino and Dubai businesses.
