PVMACHINO organizes activities on International Women’s Day (08/03/2024)

Joining the merry atmosphere of the 114th anniversary of International Women’s Day (March 8, 1910 – March 8, 2024) and the 1984th anniversary (Spring 40 – March 8, 2024) of the Hai Ba Trung uprising, Petrovietnam Machinery – Technology Joint Stock Company (PVMACHINO) organized many exciting and joyful activities to congratulate female employees on this special event.

March 8th is known as “International Women’s Day” every year. This is the day to commemorate the struggle for the rights of women and children around the world and to this day it is also an occasion to honor, show love and respect for women. In Vietnam, March 8th is also the anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung uprising, two heroines who brought pride to the nation when they first drove out the Northern invaders and regained national sovereignty.

On the morning of March 8th at the Company’s office at 8 Trang Thi, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi, the Company’s Board of Directors held a meeting with female employees working at the Company on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The meeting took place in a warm and intimate atmosphere with the presence of the Board of Directors and all employees of the Departments/Offices throughout the Company. Mr. Pham Van Hiep – General Director, on behalf of the whole company, sent thanks and best wishes to the female employees, and also gave them beautiful bouquets of flowers!

Giving a speech at the meeting, the General Director acknowledged the achievements of female employees who are important workforces contributing to the overall development of PVMACHINO. At the same time, the General Director also encouraged and motivated women to always unite, constantly innovate, be creative, actively study to improve their qualifications and capacity in all aspects…

To celebrate International Women’s Day, with the approval of the General Director – Mr. Pham Van Hiep, on February 28, 2024, the Company organized the tailoring of Ao Dai costumes for all female employees to use during holidays, Tet, traditional days and events of the Company…

Along with the welcoming activities to celebrate the 114th  anniversary of International Women’s Day March 8 and 1984th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising, the Company’s Trade Union organized Women’s activities combined with spring outing activities at the beginning of the year of Giap Thin on March 2, 2024 at two pagodas Dia Tang Phi Lai Tu and Cay Thi in Ha Nam, including the Executive Committee of the Trade Union, the Trade Union Inspection Committee and all female union members of the Company’s Trade Union.

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, March 8, 2024, PVMACHINO Company would like to send to Vietnamese women wishes for health, happiness and success in all fields to be worthy of the eight golden words of Uncle Ho’s praise “Heroic – Indomitable – Loyal – Responsible”
