PetroVietnam Machinery and Technology Joint Stock Company join hands to support victims of mini apartment fire

To share the sadness and loss of the families of victims in the mini apartment fire on September 12, 2023 in Thanh Xuan district, the Trade Union of Petroleum Machinery and Equipment Joint Stock Company (PVMachino) issued a statement. Mobilized the Company’s employees to join hands to support the victims of the fire, with an amount of more than 21 million VND.


Recently, at 11:22 p.m. on September 12, 2023, at alley 29/70, Khuong Ha street, Khuong Dinh ward, Thanh Xuan district, Ha Noi City. A residential house fire occurred, causing particularly serious consequences, causing many casualties. As of September 14, 2023, there had been 56 deaths and many injured people were being treated at local hospitals.

Implementing the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoan Kiem district, to promptly share with the damage, loss of life and property to the families of victims in the fire; with the consent of the Party Committee and the Company’s Board of Directors, on September 15, 2023, the Trade Union Executive Committee launched and called on employees in PVMachino to contribute to support the families and victims of the fire to reduce difficulties and stabilize their lives soon. The level of support was volunteered by employees.

After 5 days of launching, the Company’s Trade Union received a total donation of more than 21 million VND; and on the morning of September 22, 2023, Ms. Chu Thi Thanh Chung – Chairwoman of the Company’s Trade Union Executive Committee, represented the Trade Union Executive Committee and all PVMachino employees to present the above donation amount to Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khuong Dinh ward. Mr. Nguyen Van Hung – Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khuong Dinh ward received and respectfully expressed his thanks for the kindness of PVMachino staffs.

Throughout our 67-year development journey, PVMachino is not only a company operating with business goals, but also always focuses on the Company’s role in social and community responsibility. Through this act of support, besides hoping to help those affected by the fire, PVMachino also wants to spread the message of solidarity and kindness in the community, the tradition of mutual love and kindness.
